We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to join a high-priority, fast-track CAPEX Equipment Project in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This is an interim role, stepping into a key position to manage resources and drive project execution under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Lead & coordinate contractors in a GMP manufacturing site
✔ Manage cross-functional teams (Engineering, MSAT, QA, Supply Chain, Automation, Procurement, etc.)
✔ Ensure compliance with GMP standards and oversee engineering documentation for new equipment installation
✔ Work on a fast-track filling & packaging line project with critical business impact
✔ Handle multiple priorities and execute under pressure
What You Need:
🔹 5+ years’ experience in Project Engineering / Project Management in CAPEX Equipment Projects within Pharma (GMP)
🔹 Strong knowledge of filling & packaging lines (liquids preferred), Pharma process equipment acceptable)
🔹 Excellent communication skills – ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
🔹 Agility & adaptability – must be hands-on and proactive
🔹 Onsite commitment – 5 days per week in Halifax (no long holidays before July)
