Here’s what we require:
* Proven Experience: Solid background as an Operations / Depot / General Manager or in a similar high-responsibility role within services or logistics.
* CPC Qualification: Essential for managing compliance and operational standards.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commercially driven, and time-sensitive environment.
* Leadership in Complex Settings: Experience in people management and health & safety within a unionised, multi-shift environment.
* Legislative Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of current and upcoming environmental and health & safety regulations.
* Local Insight: Familiarity with the local area for effective operations.
* KPI Focused: Demonstrated ability to meet clearly defined KPIs.
* Continuous Improvement: A proven track record of driving continuous improvement in an operational setting.
* Strong Communication: Ability to communicate persuasively, plan meticulously, and collaborate effectively.
