Based at our offices in Haydock, we have an exciting opportunity for a strong Commercial Assistant to join us, initially on a temporary contract basis, to assist within the team in the Procurement Division. This initial contract is likely to run for around 3 months, with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the contract. About The Role This position requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to ensure service delivery targets are achieved. What You Will Be Responsible For: • Share responsibilities for sub portal demos to wider supply chain who have yet to engage. • Support with any sub portal related queries. • Provide admin support for Framework and Statement of Work roll out to the wider supply chain. • Management of the Procurement team inbox. • Management of PQQ applications • Ensure the approved subcontractor/supplier list is full up to date. • Ensure all subcontractor and supplier insurances, accreditations, RAMS and schedule of rates are up to date. • Support with supply chain engagement with NCZ and BESA certification requirements. • Provide admin support with rebate agreements and renewals. • Support with administration on subcontractor escalations raised via Joblogic tags. • Support with upcoming large-scale mobilisations. What We Are Looking For: Strong written and numerical skills with a solid foundation in basic communication. IT literacy, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A basic understanding of operational functions and service delivery processes. Awareness of expectations, deadlines, and targets, both internally and externally. A good working knowledge of CAFM systems. Excellent administrative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Proven experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. A general understanding of engineering practices and their application in a facilities management context.
