Operational Resilience Consultant required for a global financial services firm. You will work within Governance and Change in strengthening operational resilience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure operational resilience documentation aligns with governance and regulatory standards (FCA/PRA, DORA).
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive a coordinated approach to reporting and resilience management.
3. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on deliverables, risks, and issues; facilitate workshops to gather technical and non-technical input.
4. Data Management: Support data mapping to connect new and established sources to reporting systems, ensuring data quality.
5. Issue Resolution: Work with stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve resilience gaps; lead discussions to address emerging issues.
6. Governance and Reporting: Create PowerPoint presentations for committees, take meeting minutes, and support the preparation of self-assessment reports.
Experience:
* Background in governance, ideally within the UK financial sector.
* Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow (Operational Resilience module) and JIRA (preferred).
* Experience in operational resilience, business continuity, and risk management.
Knowledge:
* Strong understanding of UK regulatory standards for operational resilience, DORA EU regulations, and business continuity principles.
Skills:
* Ability to track project deliverables and escalate issues when necessary.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship building.
* Competency in preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to timelines and critical paths.
