We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, inspirational and skilful head of year. The main responsibilities of the role include, for the year group:
1. Managing the tutors, and leading on the tutor programme
2. Leading on rewards and celebrations
3. Leading assemblies
4. Overseeing the professional development curriculum, including careers
5. Overseeing the extra-curricular offers available
6. Writing Additional Needs Plans
7. Conducting student voice
8. Ensuring good behaviour
The role also includes teaching responsibility and this can be from any subject.
