Facilities Management Operative – Various
Facilities Management Operatives will be required at the Sites below. They will provide great customer service and will be instrumental in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the larger occupied sites run smoothly. They will liaise with employees/contractors and will take ownership and pride in their site.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of internal/external post on site.
2. Provide and record inductions on behalf of the client.
3. Act as contact for any contractors or visitors needing access to the building.
4. Perform reception duties.
5. Liaise with Property Management Services staff and Contractors to ensure that reactive jobs are completed, often being the first point of contact for issue resolution.
6. Conduct site inspections and raise concerns with FM, proactively ensuring faults are chased.
7. Represent the Facilities Management function on site and deliver a high level of customer service, dynamically addressing issues while working safely within competencies.
8. Ensure concerns directed to them by staff regarding the building or services are escalated to the client team.
9. Basic cleaning of kitchen and toilet areas (surfaces/consumables topped up/bins emptied).
10. Reactive cleaning of any spillages, leaks, etc.
11. Perform tasks including but not limited to:
1. Tighten loose door handles/catches.
2. Tighten/replace toilet seats.
3. Tighten furniture fixings.
4. Fit/adjust monitor arms.
12. Check and replace desktop fuses, power supplies from sockets to desks, distribution board breakers, and lamps.
13. Isolate water supplies, unblock toilets, sinks, urinals, tighten waste fittings, and descale drinks boilers.
14. Make HVAC adjustments.
15. Assist with fire alarm tests.
16. Undertake any reasonable tasks requested by client or FM Provider at no additional cost within normal working hours, without needing approval from Soft Services Management.
