• a minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above (inc. English and Maths) or proven equivalent work experience • a minimum of one years relevant work experience (in general administration / updating systems) • a level two NVQ in customer service or relevant experience • have customer-focused approach to dealing with service requests / reports • ability to prioritise tasks and plan / schedule own workload driven by both customer need and service SLAs • have attention to detail / accuracy when updating records relied on by colleagues and customers • have excellent communication skills, ensuring colleagues are updated when handing over workloads • awareness of freedom of information and data protection legislation and ensure compliance • experience of working in local Government and Councillors would be advantageous • experience of providing support to colleagues, other NDC officers and members of the public • experience of working as part of an effective team / drive to help achieve team objectives This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
