JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Location: Oxfordshire, South East England Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide individualised support and tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement personalised learning plans based on students' needs Assist students in improving their academic performance and achieving their educational goals Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create a supportive learning environment Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with diverse needs Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Strong organisational and time management skills Knowledge of relevant educational technologies and resources Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties Working Conditions: The role of SEN Tutor involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work is predominantly carried out in educational settings, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and students.
