Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. The role involves supporting clients with various needs, including senior care, Rehabilitation care, and behaviour management.
Responsibilities:
-Lead a team of support workers
-Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients, focusing on rehabilitation goals
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Engage clients in activities that stimulate their physical and mental well-being
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when required
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed
Skills:
- Experience in adult care and Rehabilitation care, or related fields
- Proficient in first aid procedures
- Ability to administer medication safely and accurately
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Competent in meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
