We have an exciting opportunity for an MEP senior quantity surveyor to join our Kier Mechanical and Electrical business in a role that will be aligned with our major HMP Glasgow project located just East of the city. Location : Glasgow, hybrid working, between site, office and remote Contract : Permanent, Full Time. What will you be responsible for? Are you looking for the next step in you're career? would you like to work on the largest construction project in Scotland? are you comfortable working from pre construction through delivery on large schemes involving high value MEP services? Your day to day will include: Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project. Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities. Liaise with clients, contractors and subcontractors to ensure the budget requirements are met. Manage cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery Compile and issue commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's What are we looking for? This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if: Have experience commercially managing, high value M&E works Are proficient in the use of MS Office, with a focus on Excel. Are degree qualified and able to demonstrate strong communication.
