Job summary Were opening a new Dental Education Practice in Plymouth City Centre later this year, and were looking for a Clinic Team Leader to join us on a full-time basis Initially working in our Plymouth Dental Education Facilities in Derriford and Devonport for training purposes, the Clinic Team Leader will transfer to our new Dental Education Practice (DEP) in Plymouth City Centre when this opens in Autumn 2025. The DEP will provide an innovative model of care comprising urgent and stabilisation dental care, and general and specialist dentistry delivered alongside placements for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as trainees undertaking dental foundation training. The Clinic Team Leader will be the CQC Registered manager for the DEP, and will lead on the effective and efficient running of clinical activity, as well as managing the clinical and administrative teams. Main duties of the job Key accountabilities: Operational management of the clinical floor and supporting services, including reception/administration duties and where applicable, nursing support. Monitoring and improving practice performance using set key performance indicators including providing high-quality patient care, meeting financial and contractual targets and managing budgets Cash handling and financial reporting Line management of clinical and administration staff to achieve an innovative, motivational and high performing working environment to best deliver services to patients and students.
