Cardiac rhythm management is a sub speciality of cardiology that manages patients with arrhythmias and cardiac devices in the pre hospital, outpatient, day case and inpatient setting. As a trainee ACP you will be developed to meet the four pillars of advanced practice to manage and facilitate this populations patient pathway. Trainee practitioners will be expected to complete an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) under the support and guidance of your ACP and medical colleagues. WHAT YOULL DO 1. As a Trainee Advanced Practitioner (ACP) you are expected to work in conjunction with the 4 pillars of Advanced Practice as outlined in the HEE Multi-professional Framework (2017 Clinical practiceLeadership and ManagementEducationResearch 2. This is a training post in which the practitioner will deliver, under the supervision of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner or Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP) an advanced level of clinical practice within the speciality area 3. The trainee ACP will develop the knowledge and skill required to provide expert clinical management and care to patients within the speciality area 4. The trainee ACP will complete a clinical portfolio, providing evidence of the HEE capabilities for advanced clinical practice and speciality specific competencies in practice whilst working towards a recognised MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. You need to be able to provide evidence of previous post registration CPD and degree / MSc level study. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to completion of the ACP MSc specialising in cardiac rhythm management.
