JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the commercial performance and operational management of our UK & European Elizabeth Arden websites. This role combines an understanding of what drives e-commerce sales and a passion for user experience to improve the onsite shopping experience to deliver sustainable growth YOY. As an expert on online customer behaviour, this role will advocate for the needs of our customers, combining data and analytics insights from channel and website performance to inform our channel strategy, website optimisation and merchandising.
This role has one direct report, the UK Ecommerce Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and lead commercial planning of the UK website to achieve weekly and monthly targets.
* Responsible for UK site’s P&L management and commercial forecasting/re-phasing in partnership with the Head of Ecommerce to unlock revenue and profit opportunities.
* Manage inventory and merchandising performance working with the demand team on future forecasting and site inventory requirements.
* Own the overall performance marketing budget as part of each UK site P&L, giving clear budget and performance KPI’s to the UK Performance Marketing manager on a weekly/monthly basis to optimise our growth and acquisition channels.
* Work with the UK Ecommerce Executive to analyse paid performance results, inform optimisation’s and ensure the channels are delivering to target as part of the commercial plan.
* Build and own the animation & trade plan for each local ecommerce market, partnering with local marketing teams to identify promotional cadence, market/consumer/seasonality nuances and priorities.
* Work at a centralised level with the UK Ecommerce Executive to co-ordinate animation and promotional planning across UK sites to create efficiencies and economies of scale.
* Partner with the UK Ecommerce Executive to ensure content updates/refreshes/promotions are delivered to plan, deadline, and objectives.
* Partner with the UK Ecommerce Executive to build and deliver a UK e-CRM calendar for both BAU/marketing emails alongside automation and segmentation strategies.
* Own the data analysis of the UK site database to identify opportunities consumer profiling & targeting, working with the wider UK DTC team and agencies to implement and manage strategies.
* Work with local market teams on a continuous basis to ensure clear RACI and ownership of all projects, establishing responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives.
* Report weekly, monthly and quarterly results and progress against sales targets across all UK sites, with actionable analysis and clear commentary Vs KPI’s.
* Be the daily lead on site performance, traffic and merchandising across all UK sites on core KPI’s.
* Liaise with external and internal development agencies to ensure website performance & UX is optimal, escalating issues as needed.
* Be the ecommerce lead on dev projects/new functionality in partnership with IT and external agencies.
* Be the UK DTC lead on logistics and customer service relationships and cross functional teams in partnership with the Head of Ecommerce.
* Identify new opportunities for growth in each market and map road to implementation and success with cross functional teams and in partnership with the Head of Ecommerce.
Candidate Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business in marketing.
* Minimum of 4 years e-Commerce experience, ideally focused on acquisition.
* Proven experience of managing agencies across the digital channel mix.
* Proven ability to work within brand guidelines with creative and commercial awareness.
* Experience working with Shopify, Klaviyo or other CMS / CRM tools.
* Previous experience designing and executing strategy around the different user journeys across social, search and affiliates.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to listen effectively, constructively challenge and be forward thinking to build agreement and alignment across teams.
