A position has become available for a Conveyancing Legal Secretary in our property department in our Salisbury office.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Deal with day-to-day Conveyancing administration
2. Typing dictated letters, contracts, leases and other documentation
3. Answering and making calls to clients, other solicitors, mortgage lenders and estate agents
4. Giving quotations for routine transactions
5. Preparation of post-exchange and post-completion documentation
6. Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
7. Experience dealing with conveyancing matters, in particular post-exchange and post-completion documentation
8. Completing Local Authority and other relevant pre-exchange searches
9. Opening and dealing with the initial stages of Conveyancing transaction
10. Liaising directly with clients to manage expectations and provide updates on progress of cases
Skills & Experience
1. Audio typing skills
2. Good communication skills
3. Excellent IT skills
4. 2 years’ experience in a Conveyancing role
