Job Description
We are looking for Electrically biased Engineers to join our day team. If you have experience in industrial electrical engineering and enjoy variety, this could be the next role for you. As part of the Engineering team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on electrical systems throughout the Plant and Office buildings
2. Participating in improvement projects to enhance electrical infrastructure and efficiency
3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues in a timely manner
4. Designing and implementing electrical systems and components according to specifications
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support overall plant operations
7. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including electrical schematics and reports
8. Conducting regular inspections and assessments of electrical equipment and systems
9. Recommending and implementing energy-saving measures and sustainable practices
10. Assisting in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programmes
11. Providing technical guidance and support to other team members as needed
12. Staying updated on the latest electrical engineering technologies and industry trends
You will be working 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday with a 3pm finish on a Friday. We offer a competitive salary starting at £17.02 per hour based on experience and qualifications, along with a competitive benefits package including overtime, bonus, and employee assistance programme.
Qualifications
You will need to be a qualified Electrician ideally with industrial experience
13. 18th Edition qualified
14. HV trained or willing to train
15. FLT licence desirable
