ROLE: Targeted Service Officer - Liverpool City Council
CONTRACT: 35 hours per week, 9-5pm - Monday to Friday.
HOURLY RATE: Ltd Umbrella £23.59
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The successful applicant will work with children and young people who are at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
You will engage with young people and their families in homes, schools and in the community.
You will have experience of supporting young people and families to overcome barriers and to build on their strengths to successfully engage them in positive programmes to divert them away from anti social behaviour and criminality through assessments and collaborative intervention planning.
ABOUT YOU:
Qualifications - Graduate or similar level of qualification in an area related to working with young people or offenders. *
Knowledge and Skills -
Ability to use electronic recording systems with a good level of administrative and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with young people including those who display challenging behaviour. *
Excellent listening and assessment skills.
Good communication skills both written and verbal. *
Other - Essential Car user.
