Yokogawa Marex has an exciting new opportunity for a highly driven Project Manager.
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for the project management of software development and deployment projects, delivering solutions to our global customers in the process industry.
We are looking for an experienced project manager, team leader or someone who is looking to make that next step in their career into project management (for example, an assistant project manager, or software developer with experience of leading a team).
You will build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the global Yokogawa organization and support the Yokogawa Marex Management Team to achieve company goals and objectives.

As a Project Manager, you will be:
* Managing software development across multiple projects
* Defining and developing detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones
* Managing and allocating resources in collaboration with stakeholders
* Managing project schedules, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
* Managing and reporting on all financial aspects of the project
* Preparing and presenting progress reports and status updates to stakeholders
* Conducting post-project evaluations and determining recommendations for future projects
* Implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project outcomes
* Managing the day-to-day activities of the project team
We are looking for a colleague with:
* 5 years of experience in a technical environment
* Organizational skills to handle multiple projects
* Experience in team management
* Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and control
* Experience in time management, scheduling, and planning
* Experience in contract and stakeholder management
* High levels of compliance
* Negotiation skills
* Experience with standard Microsoft Office applications
* Self-motivated, methodical, and conscientious
* Enthusiasm, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), be customer-focused, thrive on problem-solving, have the desire for continuous quality improvement, and be a team player
Desirable but not essential:
* Prince 2 or equivalent qualification
* Degree in Computer Science or similar qualification
* Experience in managing software projects
* Experience in working with software development teams
* Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System Awareness
