We are looking for a forward thinking Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team hereat Medik8. You will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services to support the day-to-day operations of the business. Your focus will be onoptimising procurement processes, building strong supplier relationships, and driving costsavings across all areas of the business. This is a fixed term contract between 12-14 months (maternity cover) If you are passionate about driving efficiency and innovation, we want to hear from you In more detail your role will include: Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key category of spendcomponents Conduct competitive bidding processes, negotiate contracts, and securefavourable pricing and terms with suppliers. Ensure timely and efficientprocurement of goods and services to supportbusiness operations. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers Manage supplier performance, address issues, and drive continuousimprovement in quality and delivery. Conduct regular supplier reviews and implement corrective actions asnecessary. Procurement Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimise procurement processes to improveefficiency, reduce costs, and minimise risks. Implement and maintain the procurement arm of the MRP Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance withprocurement regulations and best practices. Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyse key procurement metrics, such as spend analysis, costsavings, and supplier performance. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and provide insights to keystakeholders. Utilise data analytics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and processimprovement. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and engineering. Provide expert support and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters. What can you bring to the role? At least 4 years experience as a Procurement Manager, ideally within beauty or thepharmaceutical industry Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build deep and long term supplier relationships. A track record of utilising budgeting and cost management skills to achievecost-effective procurement outcomes. Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics. Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to zoom out and thinkstrategically. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
