To learn more about us, please visit System1 Group | Create with Confidence About The Role The B2B Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, increase market share, and support sales growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the B2B market. What will you be doing? Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and plans to achieve business objectives. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to create and execute promotional campaigns. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. Manage trade marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partner trade organizations, System1 spokespeople and more. Create and manage trade marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and sales tools. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and campaigns. Conduct regular market visits to gather feedback and insights from customers and partners. Coordinate and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events. Examples of what this may look like: Supporting the development of stage presentations for the Cannes Lions Festival Helping System1 plan and execute its appearances at conferences for the Association of National Advertisers, including a booth presence at ANA Master of Marketing Leading planning for an annual Super Bowl week customer networking event Proposing and briefing in copy and design updates for System1’s brochures, sales decks and other sales/marketing materials Updating the budget spreadsheet monthly with forecasts and confirmed spend, and raising purchase orders for invoices tied to trade marketing You need to be this kind of person: Innovative Mindset: You can think creatively and are willing to pursue big ideas Self-Starter: Operating in a scale-up business, ability to roll up sleeves and make things happen by doing as well as influencing Execution-Oriented: Ability to move projects forward, overcoming obstacles, and delivering results. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing data and market trends to inform decision-making. Collaborative: Comfortable collaborating with the Marketing, Product and Sales teams, as well as executive-level leaders, in addition to external partners. You need to have the following experience: You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in trade marketing preferably in a B2B environment. You will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines. We need someone who is very well organised and is excited to work in a global function. It will be an advantage if you have higher level education in marketing and have experience forecasting and managing a budget.
