This is a rare opportunity with one of the largest, direct conveyancers in the UK which has been providing its services for an incredibly long time and is backed by a leading provider, guaranteeing that it is here to stay. Through covid and periods of recession, it has never been forced to make redundancies due to the constant and guaranteed stream of work it receives on a monthly basis.
Your role will include:
1. Ensuring cases are opened promptly following receipt of new instructions from lender clients
2. Cross-referencing and verifying information before issuing initial packs to the borrowers’ solicitors
3. Interpreting mortgage offers, identifying special conditions and issuing the necessary documentation to the borrower’s solicitor
4. Liaising with client lenders
5. Liaising with Technical Advisors on complex matters and ensuring relevant guidance and instructions are followed
6. Regularly chasing the borrower’s solicitors for the return of signed documentation and title documentation in order to progress the case
7. Taking calls for the team’s cases and assisting solicitors/lenders with process queries or taking messages for the conveyancers where necessary
8. Assisting in requesting completion funds and dealing with completion
Despite the amount of work the firm receives, ensuring staff have a manageable caseload is a key priority and you are guaranteed not to be placed under pressure with unmanageable caseloads. The firm ensures this stays at a capped level and has an outstanding and achievable bonus structure which provides a generous uplift to your basic salary. Low staff attrition is paramount at this firm, with so many members of the team having been with them for 10, 20 years+.
