What will you do We offer a Finance Student Placement in Tax Planning, located in the High Wycombe Campus, England [moving to Reading or Maidenhead in Spring 2026]. The placement will run from 23rd June 2025 until 17th July 2026. The Tax Planning group is responsible for the design, deployment, and management of Kenvue’s tax strategy. Our hardworking, diverse team of professionals is based in the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. We are responsible for: Planning: being the tax organisation's face to the business, providing expert support, business model maintenance/evolution, managing intercompany flows and pricing, forecasting and monitoring the region's effective tax rate; Risk management: monitoring principal substance, maintaining documentation, reserves, in-market activity, and preparing for controversy; Controversy: support for tax audits and Advance Pricing Agreements; Business Development (M&A) activity: integration and separation planning, structure, and execution. The placement student will be embedded within the EMEA Tax Planning team and will collaborate with finance and business teams across the organization and regions at multiple levels. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain broad experience of our business models, strategy, and activities across functional areas, and exposure to various finance teams and wider functional partners. Key Responsibilities The role will include: Supporting the team with ad hoc projects; Liaison with functional partners, including through attendance at and note taking at meetings; Data-gathering across functions and data analysis (e.g., supporting tax audit work, gathering financial information, and providing insights/analysis); Mapping of inter-company relationships, functions, and organisations; Intercompany price-setting; Supporting the tax payments process and working with our compliance co-source providers, Deloitte; Assistance in the preparation of presentation, training, and knowledge-sharing materials, standard procedures, and documentary records; Management and engagement of external advisors. Qualifications Education: 2 years of degree level study completed; A minimum of 2:1 achieved in the first year of study; Accounting and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Sciences, and Business-related degree types preferred. Experience and Skills: Required: Keen ability to learn, analyse and absorb information and processes; Ability to problem solve and analyse situations; Time management and prioritising skills; Proficient level of English; Confident and outgoing communicator, with strong written communication skills; Must be a motivated self-starter with ambition; Strong organisation skills; Sound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
