The Role: Full-time, permanent position starting September 2024 (or sooner if possible). Teach Health and Social Care at [GCSE or A-Level] level (please specify in your application). Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that explore vital social issues, healthcare systems, and personal development, catering to the diverse needs of Redbridge students. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and reach their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a rigorous and relevant Health and Social Care curriculum. Who We Are Looking For: A qualified Health and Social Care Teacher (QTS) with a passion for inspiring young people. Experience teaching Health and Social Care at the specified level is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) as well. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to fostering critical thinking skills, social justice, and cultural awareness. The ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students to explore sensitive topics.
