Job Title: Area Sales Manager Location: Midlands Salary: £35-45K basic salary, car allowance, competitive commission structure, 25 days holiday, company pension. With a focus on distributing quality products to the print and signage industries for over 20 years and providing excellent service throughout this company has delivered sustained growth over a long period. By offering a diverse range of substrates, boards, digital print media, wrap films and sign vinyl they have a great reputation in the industry they serve. Due to continued expansion they are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Sales Manager to focus on developing client relationships and driving sales within designated territories. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct sales presentations to existing accounts and new potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our products/services. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Prospect and qualify new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to support sales efforts and provide feedback on market trends. Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients in a timely manner. Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights. Skills Knowledge and Experience: Proven track record of success in sales with a passion for customer service. Experience in the Sign & Display sector is a massive advantage. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and a passion for exceeding targets. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within designated territories.
