Project Manager / Control of Works Manager Location: Teddington Salary: £55,000 package Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday - Friday We are looking for an experienced Control of Works Manager to take overall responsibility for the Control of Works Team and Process, ensuring the safe and efficient running of all control of work arrangements on-site. This role is integral to the smooth integration of our Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and the overall safety culture at the site. Key Responsibilities: Overall Control: Manage and oversee the Control of Works Team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the control of work process across the site. Project Management: Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Control of Work arrangements, ensuring integration with the Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and smooth operation on site. Third-Party Management: Oversee and control all third-party work, including project works that are not routine low-risk FM activities handled by resident staff. Client Services: Deliver Control of Work services to the client in line with agreed scope, ensuring the fulfilment of KPIs and providing regular monthly performance and service delivery reports. Compliance Assurance: Provide assurance to the client on adherence to Control of Work standards, ensuring compliance with NPL arrangements and client-specific safety regulations. Training and Competence: Deliver and manage training for all parties integral to the Control of Work arrangements, ensuring key roles are competent and fully equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively. Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management (FM) or Project Management. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent qualification). Project management experience, including Prince2 or similar methodologies. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and guide a team. Excellent communication skills with a focus on compliance and safety standards. Proven track record in managing third-party services and working closely with clients to meet agreed KPIs.
