We are looking for either a Restaurant or Food & Beverage Manager for this excellent opportunity in Preston.
The role oversees a beautiful restaurant and also wedding and banqueting facilities. You will be a strong Restaurant Manager or a F&B Manager who has experience in 4 star hotels and who is prepared to help drive the team and deliver a great service. This position will need you to be the host and good at customer liaison as well as managing rotas, budgets and staff including staff training.
This is a great opportunity to join an operation where the client is expanding the operation in the coming months and so the role will grow considerably.
Duties:
1. Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the Hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient service
2. Manage and supervise restaurant staff, including kitchen and front-of-house teams
3. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
4. Assist in creating and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue
5. Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement staff training programs
6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues promptly
7. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
8. Assist in creating work schedules and managing employee attendance
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in the Hotel or hospitality industry is required
2. Strong leadership and team management skills
3. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
6. Bartending experience is a plus
7. Must be detail-oriented and have strong problem-solving abilities
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
