Main duties of the job
We are an enthusiastic and innovative team who value the input and contribution of all our team members and strive to offer the best service possible to our service users. The team has been active in launching new therapeutic initiatives such as compassion-focused therapy groups and acceptance and commitment therapy programmes. We aim to offer a wide range of psychological therapies including CBT, EMDR, ACT, DBT, CAT, Integrative, Schema-focused, Mindfulness, and Solution-focused ways of working, in both group and individual contexts.
We are looking for a compassionate, thoughtful, and enthusiastic practitioner psychologist to join our friendly, close-knit team. We would welcome a psychologist who can demonstrate an interest in working with service users with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and a commitment to improving their wellbeing through direct clinical interventions or contributions to psychologically-informed care plans. We would particularly welcome someone with an interest in building the provision of evidence-based practice in an area of their interest (psychosis, trauma, mood disorders, or personality disorders).
