* Conduct scheduled, unscheduled, and proactive maintenance on hydro power stations, including fault finding, major repairs, and out-of-hours breakdown support.
* Perform outage work and repairs as needed, contributing to optimized performance and promoting hydro turbine technology benefits.
* Work independently or in small teams at remote sites, using technical equipment and manuals to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and C&I issues, ensuring Health and Safety standards are upheld.
* Analyze PLC and SCADA systems, make cost-effective maintenance decisions, and suggest design improvements to support continuous improvement.
* Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment, including a company-provided 4WD vehicle, to manage risk in challenging environments.
* Maintain documentation and management systems (e.g., Madison, PRAD, SAP) and work towards qualifications such as Technical Officer, Safety Controller, and Safety Coordinator.
Working within our team delivering hydro turbine operations and maintenance, including fault finding, repairs, major component changes and troubleshooting. This role requires a proactive individual who can work within mechanical, electrical and civils environments and is capable of working in isolation and solving problems with an analytical approach., Qualified technician or engineer in C&I, mechanical, or electrical disciplines, or a skilled apprentice.

An expected starting salary from £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience and up to 10% annual bonus
