We are looking for a passionate and organised individual with significant experience in leading on quality improvement initiatives and overseeing clinical governance. The successful candidate should have significant healthcare experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and services to deliver high quality, safe services. As the ideal candidate you will also have: Proven experience in successfully managing teams A background in managing clinical governance, patient safety and quality within health services Experience of managing and ensuring effective risk management A track record of success in shaping and delivering projects, change initiatives and demonstrable service improvements Experience of ensuring compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements and working directly with regulatory bodies Experience of devising and implementing clinical audits and using clinical systems such as care databases. Strong understanding and working knowledge of clinical governance, risk management and incident management Excellent written and verbal communication skills, evidencing gravitas, diplomacy and sensitivity, to communicate clearly and effectively Adept at problem solving, with the ability to respond in an agile manner to sudden and unexpected demands. Great organisational skills with a flexible and can-do approach to be able to respond to changing and diverse work priorities.
