Position: Humanities Teacher
Location: Oldham, Manchester
Are you a Humanities Teacher looking for a new full-time role starting as soon as possible, or after February half-term?
Teaching Personnel are working alongside successful schools in the North-East Manchester area, who are hoping to welcome a dynamic Humanities teacher into their teams. We are recruiting for full-time positions to start from February half-term until the end of the academic year and can consider an immediate start date.
Full-time position to start ASAP until the end of the academic year.
Experience teaching either History, Geography, Religious Education or any other Humanities based subject.
Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The successful Humanities Teacher will be expected to:
Plan, prepare and deliver Humanities lessons to accommodate the needs of pupils at various levels of learning
Assess and evaluate class work, report back to senior teachers and take appropriate action to support pupils in meeting their aims and objectives
Work with pupils who may display challenging behaviour
Manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies and promote positive behaviour management skills
Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Humanities
Requirements
Qualified Teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
Qualification in History, Geography, Religious studies, or related fields
Experience Teaching Secondary students up to A-level standard
Confident to plan and deliver high
Enhanced child only DBS
