Page Personnel are supporting a reputable and market leading FMCG organisation in Skipton, who are looking to hire a Bookkeeper to support the overall Finance function. This brand new opportunity will be reporting into the Finance Director and working with a wider finance team, with key responsibilities such as ownership of the ledger, looking after the PNL as well as other variety of duties. This position is hybrid working and is salaried up to £30,000.
Job Description
Reporting into the Finance Director and working alongside a wider Finance team, you will be responsible for the ownership of the ledgers, managing the Profit & Loss, maintaining the payment plans as well as monitoring the stock including invoices.
Other ad hoc duties when needed include supporting with the VAT returns and preparing the internal payroll, alongside contributing towards the cost/stock analysis with senior leadership.
The Successful Applicant
* Ideally AAT Level 4 or studying.
* Open to anyone qualified by experience or studying ACCA / CIMA.
* Experience of PNL, balance sheet reconciliations, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, payment runs, petty cash, VAT returns, payroll, and cost margins is desirable.
* Ability to work individually and as part of a wider finance team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable with the basics of Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail.
