Job Description
* Provide financial management expertise, analysis, and insight to support informed decision-making across the business area.
* Produce accurate and timely financial reports to ensure key stakeholders have the information needed to drive performance.
* Support and oversee the expense budgeting and planning process, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
* Evaluate new business opportunities and projects, considering all financial implications and ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
* Ensure all reporting and accounting activities meet required standards, maintaining accuracy and compliance with agreed timelines.
* Influence business decisions by engaging with key stakeholders and providing financial guidance.
The Successful Applicant
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a strong foundation in financial management.
* Solid understanding of management accounting techniques and their practical application.
* Proven ability to advise and support senior stakeholders with financial insights.
* Experience working collaboratively with non-finance colleagues across the business.
* Advanced Excel skills, including handling large data sets and automating complex numerical models.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and understand business-wide impacts.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
* Effective communicator with the ability to engage credibly at all levels, including senior management.
