My client, based in the centre of Grimsby, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their growing team as a Database Administrator on a temporary rolling contract. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to build upon their career in data management and administration. As a database administrator, you will be responsible for entering, updating and maintaining accurate data within the firm's systems, including production of reports. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential for this role.
Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 (25-35 hours per week). Flexibility as to how these hours are spread over the working week, although there will be expectation to be working every day.
Contact Length: 3 months with the option for extension for the right candidate.
Main Duties:
- Accurately review, input andupdate data in various systems and databases
- Examine data for errors or discrepancies and coprrect and incompatibilities
- Organise and maintain electronic and paper files
- Ensure data intergirty by conducting regular audits and reports
- Communicate with team memebers to clarify data entry needs and requirements
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with data entry and database management is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Software
- Strong attention to detail; ability to input data efficiently and accurately
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good communication skills. both written and verbal
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
