Job Description
We seek an experienced engineer to join our team, utilizing their expertise in engineering and communication to drive product development, cost reduction, and technical innovation.
As a key member of the Engineering team, you will ensure timely delivery of products to specification, within budget, and in accordance with best DFMA practices.
* Deliver engineering support for design and development teams, manufacturing process improvements, and project leadership.
* Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, identifying opportunities for cost savings and quality enhancements.
Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Cost Reduction: Analyze processes and identify areas for improvement, driving down costs without compromising product quality or reliability.
Technical Innovation and Competitive Position: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring our products remain competitive and innovative.
Engineering Changes: Manage and implement effective change control processes, ensuring seamless updates to product designs and documentation.
Custom Design: Provide expert engineering support for custom quotations and technical inquiries, showcasing our capabilities and building strong client relationships.
Quality: Lead initiatives to improve product quality through redesign and production engineering, maintaining high standards and exceeding customer expectations.
People and Budget: Contribute to data-driven decision making, providing insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and drive business growth.
Communication: Foster a culture of open communication, ensuring clear understanding of DFM best practices and promoting collaboration across engineering disciplines.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* A strong background in engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
* Mastery of Microsoft tools and other relevant software applications.
* The ability to lead small teams and mentor junior engineers.
* A degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering or a related field.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
