Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Manufacture of motorsport and/or automotive electrical harnesses
2. Building of LV/HV assemblies and enclosures
3. Perform end of line harness test procedures such as continuity, isolation pin retention and resistive tests
4. Harness diagnostics and fault finding
5. Onsite client support where required
6. Draw up wiring harness boards
7. Order parts related to harness build
8. When required support the installation of harnesses into vehicles
9. Help support engineering in the Creation of electrical harness BOM
10. Support Engineering the Development of harness procedures/layouts for production and customers
11. Assist Engineering in costing for wiring work
Education and Experience:
12. Previous experience of manufacturing wire harnesses essential
13. At least 3 years in harness manufacturing in either automotive, motorsport, Military or aeronautical industry
14. Working knowledge of Raychem system 25 standards and processes
15. Previous experience in working with electrical design tools desirable
16. Experience of working with high end motorsport organisations preferred
17. Full Driving licence
18. Good communication skills
19. Flexible in carrying out different types of harness design and assembly ranging from production to prototype work
20. LV & HV harness testing and commissioning
