Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team in preparing delicious and visually appealing dishes for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
Duties:
1. Oversee all aspects of food production within the kitchen
2. Manage and lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
3. Prepare high-quality meals following standard recipes
4. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
5. Create innovative menu items to meet customer preferences
6. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
7. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques
8. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
Experience:
1. Proven experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
3. Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
4. Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations
5. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively
