About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Manager to take full accountability and responsibility for the daily management, coordination, and control of all operational activities across designated and affiliated sites.
In this role, you will:
* Manage the operational services on-site to the required specifications.
* Plan, organise, and oversee the delivery of all guest services within the operational business area.
* Ensure all contractual obligations, service level agreements, and KPIs are met.
* Contribute to business growth while maintaining strict budgetary and cost control.
* Lead, support, and develop a team of front-line colleagues.
* Work collaboratively with the CRL General Manager to ensure service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
* Organise and coordinate service activities across the site and outstations.
* Oversee cash reconciliations, stock management, and procurement processes.
* Promote a strong safety culture, conduct safety walks, and implement training programs.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation, and industry standards.
* Monitor and report service partner performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
* Manage Mess Catering, Retail, and Leisure Cafes operations.
* Handle transport documentation and ensure adherence to all company procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
* Proven experience in a management role within the soft FM service industry.
* Strong people management skills, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations.
* Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively in a team environment.
* Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
* Analytical problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
* Food safety qualification equivalent to CIEH Level 3.
Desirable:
* Experience using the Kronos system.
* Health & Safety qualification equivalent to IOSH Managing Safely.
