Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised lesson plans to support student learning and development
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN settings
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning styles and strategies
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Proficient in assessing student progress and identifying areas for improvement
* Additional training in special education or SEN support
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to SEN students in their homes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
