Key Responsibilities Collaborate with experienced engineers to assist in developing efficient and reliable BMS software solutions. Support the design, programming, and testing of BMS systems. Help interpret and follow technical documentation, such as Descriptions of Operation, panel drawings, and points lists. Write clear, maintainable code aligned with design requirements under the guidance of senior engineers. Contribute to system troubleshooting, fault-finding, and commissioning activities. Technical Experience Required Basic understanding of Building Management Systems (e.g., Distech, Schneider, Tridium, Delta) or similar platforms. Familiarity with common BMS communication protocols, such as Modbus or BACnet. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including descriptions, schematics, and points lists. Interest in adopting best practices in software development to produce maintainable code. Some exposure to programming concepts, with a willingness to learn and adapt. Basic understanding (or eagerness to learn) of mechanical and electrical building services. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Additional Advantageous Experience Basic understanding of IT networks and IP-based systems. Familiarity with smart building concepts, including naming conventions and simple integrations. CSCS card holder is advantageous. Relevant technical training, certifications, or qualifications are a bonus.
