Would you relish the opportunity to teach students the subjects of History and Politics within a college setting?
Due to growth in the curriculum and student numbers we have an exciting opportunity available. At Cirencester College, you would have the opportunity of teaching enthusiastic learners about Politics and/or History but the ability to be flexible is key requirement for this position. Teaching A-Level History and Politics is an incredibly rewarding experience, offering the chance to inspire students with a deeper understanding of the past and its impact on the present. History brings fascinating stories to life, encouraging critical thinking and analysis, while Politics empowers students to engage with the world around them, debate key issues, and understand the forces shaping society. Both subjects develop essential skills in research, argumentation, and evaluation—preparing students for a future where informed decision-making is key. There’s nothing quite like seeing students develop their own perspectives and passion for these dynamic subjects!
You would teach surrounded by a committed and supportive team who will readily share resources and best practices and offer support whenever required. Within this environment we would help you further develop as a practitioner, as you in turn develop your students.
If you want the opportunity to teach as part of the sport team, we would like to hear from you.
