We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about customer service and sales, who is prepared to consistently work effectively to deliver and exceed our customers’ expectations. The suitable candidate will be an effective communicator with a good commercial understanding, proven experience working in a growing environment, and good IT skills. If this is you then you could be our first site-based Customer Service Representative at our Runcorn manufacturing site.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for handling customer queries (phone and email) efficiently and effectively.
* Ensure accuracy of order processing, including correct pricing to eliminate any invoice pricing queries.
* Proactively upselling existing and new products once you are established in the role.
* Maintaining and updating documents for UK mainland and overseas deliveries.
* Forge positive professional working relationships, in particular ensuring close communication with the Sales and Operations Teams.
* Close collaboration with marketing, with an opportunity to have input into campaigns as well as proactively following up and generating new sales.
* Support the Operations Team to provide efficient and timely responses to customers regarding lead times and service levels in order to manage customer expectations.
* Record and escalate all customer complaints on the Complaint Notification System.
* Monitor and evaluate personal performance to enhance individual/team results in line with departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* GCSE Maths & English Language level A-C / 5 or above.
* At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service focused role.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
