We are looking for a proactive Mental Health Recovery Practitioner in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside who has the experience and leadership skills to join our supported living service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting individuals with mental health needs using a recovery-focused approach.
2. Collaborating with service users, families, housing, and other agencies to assess needs and plan transitions.
3. Fostering independence and personal fulfillment through co-produced support plans.
4. Promoting a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and positive relationships.
5. Ensuring services meet contract requirements, quality standards, and desired outcomes.
6. Leading and managing the staff team, overseeing their professional development and training.
7. Building strong partnerships with community organizations and statutory services.
8. Overseeing property management, compliance, and reporting.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with people with mental health needs is essential.
2. Knowledge of mental health conditions, recovery principles, and interventions.
3. Commitment to equality, diversity, and community-based approaches.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
