Description
* Deliver monthly management accounts
* Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and assist when required
* Own support schedules/data (e.g. fixed asset registers, bank reconciliations, accrual/prepayment schedules)
* Interrogate revenue reporting/system
* Review VAT returns and assist with other tax work
* Manage invoices payable system
* Manage cashflow
* Assist with audit fieldwork and review statutory accounts
* Coordinate and review payroll
* Manage finance team members (two direct reports)
* Ensure bank loan compliance
* Enhance processes to improve timeliness and quality of information
Profile
* Qualified accountant
* SME experience, sub £30m
* Happy being hands on whilst also working with senior leaders & stakeholders
* Proactive, able to take ownership, and be willing to lead and manage change
* Team management experience
