Position: Senior Procurement Category Manager – (Business Category: ICT, HR, and Finance) Employer: Wakefield Council Location: Hybrid (On-site in Wakefield 1-2 days per week) Salary: £49,764 - £52,805 per annum Wakefield Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Procurement Category Manager to join the Procurement Team, focusing on the Business Category, which includes ICT, HR, and Finance. You’ll play a pivotal role in full end-to-end procurement, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and best value outcomes. Current projects include replacing the Leisure booking system and working on the City Fibre initiative, focusing on procuring a comprehensive Wi-Fi network for the area.
