Electrical Project Engineer

What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to join the team at Lintott, a Galliford Try business.
In the role of Project Engineer, you will plan, budget, specify and co-ordinate the operations of the Electrical Design Team assigned to the project.
* Plan & lead design resources.
* Communicate progress to all key stakeholders, including Technical Director, Project Managers and the client.
* Communicate and coordinate design outputs / lead collaborative design activities between different skill sets / departments, including mechanical and software engineers.
* Review designs and project timescales.
* Obtain quotations and raise Procurement BOMs.
* Compile Test & Commissioning Plans.
* Compile Method Statements and Risk Assessments for delivery, modification & commissioning activities.
* Engineer and plan site works, ensuring correct equipment, tooling and materials are available to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality installations of the Lintott product on-site.
* Identify change in scope, communicate to the Project Manager and estimate costs for CE / VO capture.
* Undertake quality assessments and goods inspections.
* Support tendering department with estimating of new enquiries.
* Identify both good and bad practice feeding back to the business to identify opportunities for improvement and acknowledge jobs well done.
About You:
* Relevant/similar project engineering experience within a customer-based or customer focused environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* HNC or above in an electrical / mechatronic technical discipline.
* City & Guilds/NVQ in relevant technical discipline.
* Prior experience within the Water & Wastewater or similar sectors.
