Alongside the day-today office tasks of welcoming people to school, answering phone calls and other jobs in school (please see additional more generic job description), the particular responsibilities of the role include: School trips (liaison with staff, coordination with venue and transport company, communication with parents and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner); Initiating and managing DBS checks for staff and volunteers; Uploading and emailing the weekly newsletter to parents and staff; Making and updating staff ID cards as appropriate; Monitoring and ordering first aid supplies; Amazon / credit card ordering. The role also includes Midday Supervisor role. This includes oversight of the midday team, being part of the midday team at lunchtimes and supporting the link between middays and other staff to work well together for the children. The specific hours would be: Monday 8.30-11.45 office, 11.45-1.15 midday Tuesday 9.45-11.45 office, 11.45-1.15 midday Wednesday 8.30-11.45 & 2.15-3.45, office, 11.45-1.15 midday Thursday 9.45-11.45 office, 11.45-1.15 midday Total: 18 hours per week, Mon-Thursday We are looking to appoint a skilled, competent and committed individual to fulfil this role.
