We are leaders in this field and one of the largest electrical testing companies with an excellent reputation. Hawkesworth prides itself in maintaining strong partnerships with contractors and we are looking for self-employed PAT Engineers to undertake regular work on our behalf.
Based from home, you will be travelling to carry out portable appliance testing at a variety of sites and environments; therefore, a good knowledge of your local area will be a distinct advantage. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone who is reliable, has excellent customer service skills, can work using their own initiative, and is prepared to represent our Company values and ethos.
You will need to have a certificate in PAT testing (ideally C&G 2377) or appropriate experience, insurance, and a means of transport. A full testing kit is available on a rental basis, and you will have the full support and backup from our head office team. Additional experience or qualifications such as emergency lighting would also be an advantage.
