About the Role As Headteacher, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the school, ensuring that every child receives a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will lead a talented team of staff, inspire a love of learning, and foster a positive, creative, and challenging curriculum that engages and motivates all pupils. You will work closely with the Governing Body to maintain high standards across the school and provide leadership in a range of areas, including safeguarding, staff development, and resource management. You will also continue to build on the school’s reputation for excellence in outdoor learning and manage our popular Rainbow Club, which offers pre- and after-school care for our pupils. We are looking for a Headteacher who: • Has proven leadership experience, either as a Headteacher, Deputy or Assistant Headteacher, with a track record of driving improvement in all areas of school life. • Is a strategic and visionary leader, able to maintain and build on the school’s strengths while inspiring the school community towards even higher standards. • Places the welfare and safety of children at the heart of everything, with experience in and a commitment to leading safeguarding procedures. • Is passionate about delivering an inspiring, creative, and challenging curriculum that supports every child to achieve their full potential. • Is an excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships with children, staff, parents, governors, and the wider community. • Has experience in managing resources effectively, including staff development, financial management, and promoting staff well-being. • Is excited about the opportunity to further develop our highly valued Rainbow Club, ensuring it continues to provide outstanding care and enrichment for our pupils, before and after school.
