Hays Health & Safety are excited to be working with a growing manufacturing organisation based in Burnley.
This is the perfect role for a current Health & Safety officer/Administrator seeking an organisation committed to a strong Health & Safety culture with scope for progression.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Generating Health & Safety documents such as RAMS & Audits that comply with ISO accreditations.
2. Visit & Audit 15 sites once per year to ensure they are following processes implemented.
3. Develop and implement best practice documentation to improve the organisation's compliance.
4. Develop Health & Safety specific training that can be implemented on sites.
5. Provide general administrative support to the organisation.
6. Manage Health & Safety within their office in Burnley.
7. Encourage near miss reporting and review data to spot gaps in documentation and communicate new best practices across the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will be open to travelling to the organisation's sites at least once per year to audit their Health & Safety compliance. You will have a strong working knowledge of what an organisation needs to be compliant with ISO accreditations and experience in auditing sites based on these.
You will be able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders and review data effectively, bringing information to life.
You will have experience writing Health & Safety documentation and developing this over time.
