Key Responsibilities
:
1. Manage a varied caseload of Wills, Trusts, and Estates matters, including drafting wills, administering estates, advising on tax and succession planning, and trust management.
2. Provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of Wills, Trusts, and Estates, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, client-focused service.
3. Work with high-net-worth individuals on more complex matters, including inheritance tax planning, wealth preservation, and trust creation.
4. Draft, review, and amend Wills, Powers of Attorney, and trust documents, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
5. Oversee the administration of estates, including dealing with probate, inheritance tax returns, and distribution of assets.
6. Liaise with clients, third parties, and experts, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
7. Assist with the development and growth of the department by contributing to marketing, networking, and business development activities.
Requirements:
8. Minimum 3 years PQE in Wills, Trusts, and Estates (or equivalent experience).
9. A strong understanding of relevant legislation and tax implications related to trusts, estates, and succession planning.
10. Excellent client-facing skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach to legal matters.
11. Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and effectively, with a high degree of professionalism.
12. Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
13. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
