The post-holder will be supported to undertake training to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. During their training the post holder will be responsible for attending to patients presenting with a booked appointment or with an unscheduled care need, assessing diagnosing, treating patients and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs. Trainee Practitioners will work under the supervision of the Advanced Practitioners and GPs in the team. For their development they will be expected to rotate across any of the services. Study time and mentorship will be provided for the duration of the course.
